Created in 2022, «Les Amis du MACAAL» is a philanthropic circle composed of those who wish to actively participate in an exciting cultural project in Africa. Promoting the values of discovery, respect, sharing and education, the Museum of Contemporary African Art Al Maaden wishes to bring the countries of the continent closer together through culture and to promote intercultural dialogue at a time when it is more essential than ever to mutual understanding.

By joining the circle as a «Friend» or «Family» member, the subscribers support the actions of the Fondation Alliances and MACAAL and bring an essential resource to the development of its artistic, educational and social activities. They become part of its history, share its commitment and contribute to the international influence of its actions as well as to the sustainability of the museum and the Sculpture Park. The members also benefit from numerous advantages that give them privileged access to the artistic world and its major players and contribute to broadening their horizons.
