Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden

As part of its cultural program, MACAAL is organizing an open-air film screening on Wednesday, May 22 from 8pm*. It would also be an opportunity to discover or rediscover its current exhibition, Material Insanity.

In an original setting, the Museum’s 1 000 m² of garden will be revisited by the MAEV agency, specialised in events. A gourmet stand (pancakes, cotton candy, popcorn, etc.) will be available throughout the evening.

Synopsis

Félicité, free and proud, is a singer in the evening in a bar of Kinshasa. Her life changes when her 14-year-old son has a motorcycle accident. The teenager must have surgery quickly at the risk of having a leg amputated. Félicité must therefore raise the necessary money as soon as possible, wandering through the streets of an electric city…

MACAAL would like to thank its partners for their support: l’École Supérieure des Arts Visuels de Marrakech, l’Institut Français Marrakech, Dreamaker Productions, MAEV, and Almazar Centre Commercial.

* Free entrance for students upon presentation of a student card
