Creative workshops

On Wednesdays, 3 – 5 pm
Fee: 100 MAD

Recovery in October 2022

As part of its exhibition programme, MACAAL is organising weekly creative workshops for children aged 6 to 10!

Each workshop will start with a visit of the current exhibition in order to be inspired by the motifs, forms and colours represented, but also by the techniques specific to each artist. The children will then be invited to practice on materials and themes that vary each week.

Pottery workshop

Wednesday 25 January
3 – 5 pm

This workshop will allow your children to experiment with the material and learn the basics of the potter’s craft.
Inspired by the work THIS IS MY WORLD, THIS IS MY HOME by the artist Joël Andrianomearisoa, the workshop proposes to follow its creation process. First of all by reproducing its shape (plate) with clay. Then the children will be free to draw or write on the top of the plates what the theme of the work or the exhibition has inspired them.
Each participant will leave with their creation.

Registration

To register your children for the workshop, contact our cultural mediator at mediation@macaal.org / +212 6 76 92 44 92
Please note that places are limited to 12-15 people and registration closes at 11am on the same day.
The required material is provided by MACAAL.
Fee: 250 MAD
