Meriem Berrada designs and implements the various artistic projects of the Fondation Alliances since 2012.

With a degree in management of cultural and artistic activities (INSEEC Paris), Meriem Berrada first joined MnA communication Paris, a cultural communication agency working for clients in fashion, antiques and contemporary art before joining the team of Marrakech Art Fair, the first contemporary art fair in Morocco. After a period as head of contemporary art in the auction house Compagnie Marocaine des Œuvres et Objets d’Art, she joined the Fondation Alliances in 2012.

In 2013, she created with Othman Lazraq La Chambre Claire (Lcc Program), a photo contest dedicated to promoting African emerging photography and in 2014 the Passerelles programme, a cross sponsorship initiative which coordinates the cultural and social poles of Fondation Alliances through workshops designed to raise awareness on contemporary creation in peripheral urban areas.

In 2016, she developed the project of the Museum of Contemporary African Art Al Maaden (MACAAL) in Marrakech, of which she is the Artistic Director.
