Sylvère-Henry Cissé

Journalist, public speaking trainer, lecturer (Paris)

A French Communication consultant, author and journalist of Senegalese descent, Sylvère-Henry Cissé has had a diverse professional history across a variety of media, including press, television, and radio. Sylvère-Henry is a public speech trainer with students at Sorbonne University, researchers at the Institut Curie, trade union leaders, CEOs, executives, women and male politicians and trainees at the Institut des Vocations pour l’Emploi created by French First Lady Brigitte Macron.

He previously spent 10 years working for the Canal+ Group where he presented several programmes for French and African audiences.

He has authored several documentaries and had directed and presented Sports and Politics on La Chaîne parlementaire, and morning shows on France Télévisions-France Ô.
He created and coordinated Ôtrement dit, France Télévisions’ political show. He worked as a radio host, anchoring the morning segments on France Inter, Radio France Internationale and Europe 1. He produced Cissé Sport, a weekly sports analysis for Radio France.

Sylvère-Henry presides the Sports and Democracy club. He has been consistently involved in the cultural field with numerous contributions to France Forum and Le Point Afrique. Sylvère-Henry Cissé has authored Rap en Nord (Miroirs Éditions).
